Ok, that wasn't so bad:) Ollie was totally cool and nice and it went really well! Yay! I'm psyched too because she said they'd be touring soon and I told her they need to come to Michigan, particularly Ann Arbor (heh heh, yes, me trying to use my meager influence). She said that when I see them (not if!) to let her know I'm going to be there ahead of time and she'll get me on the list. The List! Sweet!
I can't wait till their album comes out, their EP is awesome so I'm sure the album will be fantastic. Not to mention, I love her hair:) Yes, I'm a bit star-struck but I can't help it. This is very exciting. If you'd asked me this time last year if I thought I'd be trying to get into music journalism I'd probably have laughed in your face. This is SO much more fun and exciting than the doctoral program I was in! Maybe leaving DC and not getting a teaching job was really a good thing...guess I'll have to wait and see...
